The Pelican and the Dolphin Dreaming

Hello to Premier Rann and to your office from the Kaurna-Ngarrindjeri family.

We were swimming today and the Pelican was watching and circling us and then people started screaming shark. It was a Dolphin and he swam right with us and in between us like our friend. Premier the Dolphin warned us that the publicans and the racing industry are working with the land corp to be angry and to tell lies. The Pelican saw that and he warned us not to worry because they should not steel the commons and they will be punished. We want to protect the commons and that is in the dreaming as we wont defile our own land like the publicans and the racing people. Please Mr Rann listen to the dreaming of the Pelican and the Dolphin and be wary of the publicans and the racing.

Yours sincerely the Kaurna-Ngarrindjeri family, tile holders and custodions of the dreaming and law.

The Dream: Buckled Wheel

Kym had a dream that he was turning a corner and the back wheel of our vehicle hit the curb. The car was not driving well and when we stopped to check, the tire was almost flat and the wheel was badly buckled. Kym thought in the dream that this damage was bad but realized that we could fix the problem somehow.

The car dreams in the dreaming have persisted now for approx fifteen years and I have survived a divorce, remarriage, and four vehicle changes during that time. Each time we lose a vehicle in the dreaming we have a time of change and with bother but each time we progress and end in a better circumstance. This is associated to Aboriginal business and we will wait upon the resolution in the dreaming.

Volunteers and the burial ground dream

Kym had a dream that the people organizing the volunteers had decided that no female volunteers would receive any form of remuneration. Kym dreamed that he was informed by another Aboriginal person that there was a burial ground within our vicinity that was next to a bend in a river.
The ideas associated to the indigenous approach to intellectual property, knowledge systems, rights, culture and heritage, have come to our attention in the dreaming. The issues of law that are relative to the short term, the long term and the changing circumstances, have led us to decide to hold those rights that relate to our indigenous region, with the assistance of the Government of Australia and with the view of protecting them in the dreaming from any further exploitations. We will report any instances of title or heritage exploitations to the Federal Government of Australia, as is our practice and as we have done for some time now. Any further issues of contentions or argument should be directed to the Federal Court of Australia, Native Title Unit, where our documents are being held.

The Bag Lady Dream

Kym dreamed that some of his associates in business were suggesting to him that it would be better for his image if he had a partner who was an Asian University student. (a person known to Kym who's ID we will not disclose) Then Kym saw a vision in the dream of a work basket that Rachael uses to carry her tools to her market stall. But the basket was full of items that looked like the property of a "bag lady".

What is this dream telling us? Rachael Maxwell is an honored member of our family, Rachael has a rich heritage that is yet to be disclosed and a story of her own that describes her journey within culture and heritage. Every Indigenous person has a right to a share in their heritage and a right to use that for the benefit of family. Corruption and legal convolution has temporarily separated many of the indigenous people of the world from their birthrights, separation by legal convolution does not break apart that which is eternally conjoined. I am far from impressed by the suggestions made in the dream by my associates and indeed I woke up with feelings of immediate distress. Rachael has her own story to tell.

Dream: Car Crash Tasmanian Aboriginal Man

Dream. We were in our car and we stopped at an intersection. We were waiting and Kym saw another vehicle, an older style car with a light skinned Aboriginal man driving. He had a beard and Kym recognized him to be related to the the Tasmanian Aboriginal remnant. He seemed to be passing and then he came back and as he passed the front of our vehicle he clipped the lights. Kym got out of the vehicle and had a look at the damage. The whole front of the car was smashed. Kym was thinking that we would be up for more expense with insurance excess and that the insurance company would not be unhappy.

In fact we have had several large claims on the vehicle lately and another accident would be bad. The Tasmanian Aboriginal remnant were with the remnant of the Northern Ngarrindjeri on Kangaroo Island in the Early 1800s along with the Whalers and Sealers on Kangaroo Island.
The next recorded mariner in South Australian waters was Captain Pendleton of New York, in the 120 ton brig Union, who spent 4 months on Kangaroo Island on a sealing expedition in 1803. While on Kangaroo Island, he built a small vessel of 35 tons, named Independence. The place where the ship was built has been known since then as American River. He had met the French Captain Baudin off the west Australian coast in January 1803, who had directed him to the island.

Captain Pendleton was killed on the 30th September of the same year by the natives of the Island of Toongataboo, one of The Friendly Islands (Tonga).
Could be that the others (Tasmanians) are going to have a crack at us to do some damage to our claim of Title. Note the reference to New York city and the timing as I have been on the net there all week. That has to be sorted so we can get on with organisng the management, maybe with Captain Pendleton's ancestors. I reckon old Captain Pendleton my great great great great grand-pappy. He must have had an eye for the dark ladies. Well I inherited that trait and I proud of it, know a fine lady when I see one. Enough for now.

The Little Girl in the House Dream

The Dream: Kym was asleep and in the dream he was awoken by a violent rattling of the bedroom door. At first he didn't realize that someone was there but again their was the noise at the door. There was someone in our house and Kym was terrified to the pit of his guts. Kym got out of bed and went from room to room yelling who's there, who are you and the terror continued. Suddenly Kym turned and there was his daughter Isobel with a little girl about eight years old and she was crying. She was in danger from the street gangs and she had come into our house for protection. Kym was distraught and saying to his wife wake up there's a little girl in our house and we have to call the Police. We have to find her mother. Kym went to his mothers house and said we have a little girl with us and we have to call the Police. She is lost and we cant find her mother.

Out of 1-10 for intensity and importance: This dream is a 10. There are numerous ways to interpret this dream but it is best that we wait and see what unfolds now. But make no mistake things will come to light and the little girl will be safe in our house.
